What is GALA Choruses?
Is a 501c3, not-for-profit organization serving the GLBT choral
movement! The mission of GALA Choruses is to support GLBT choruses
as we change our world through song. GALA Choruses is open to all
GLBT and GLBT-allied choruses. PerformOUTKC is joined by several
other youth choruses and performing arts groups.

What is PerformOUTKC?
An educational outreach performing arts program
for LGBTQA young adults ages 14-20.
Established in 2008 and incorporated in the state
of Missouri in 2010.
Who are the leadership of the
organization?
PerformOUTKC leadership is made of diverse
professional individuals that strive to make the
organizational vision a reality. Board members
also serve as an ambassador for the organization
in the community.
What is the Mission of
PerformOUTKC?
To provide a safe, inclusive atmosphere for youth
of any and all identities, which fosters positive
identity development through excellence in
music performance and creative expression.
What is the Purpose of
PerformOUTKC?
To provide a safe place for LGBTQA youth in
supporting them as they develop a positive self
image, self exploration and to share their life
experiences and voices with the Kansas City
community through performance.
